Adriano R. Suarez

Adriano R. Suarez, 53, of Monroe Township passed away on Tuesday, February 16, 2021 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick.

Born and raised in Paranaque, Philippines, Adriano came to the United States in 1991, living in California and Arizona before settling in Monroe Township in 2004. For the last 25 years, he has worked as a Registered Nurse and Nurse Manager in the Emergency Department of University Hospital in Newark. He was a devout Catholic and a long time communicant of Immaculate Conception Church of Spotswood. He was a very loving and caring father and husband and, he was always willing to lend a hand to family and friends alike.

Predeceased by his parents, Celestino and Luciana Suarez, he is survived by his loving wife of 26 years, Mara Suarez; his children, Arianne, Alyssa, Andrew and Ashley Suarez, and; his brother Jonathan Suarez.

Funeral Services will begin with a 10:30 AM Mass of Christian Burial from Immaculate Conception Church, Spotswood, on Wednesday, February 24th with a private cremation to follow. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 23rd, from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at Spotswood Funeral Home, 475 Main Street, Spotswood. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the restrictions placed on gatherings and activities, all current guidelines are to be observed during visitations, including the use of face coverings and social distancing.
