Alex Anthony Pingoy

Alex Anthony Pingoy, 61, of East Brunswick passed away Thursday, September 6, 2018 at New York Presbyterian Hospital, Manhattan. 

Born and raised in the Phillippines, Alex graduated from Immaculate Conception High School and and he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering from Cebu Institute of Technology, Phillippines. 

Alex was employed as a computer information technology consultant with Seven Seven Software in Rockaway, N.J.  

Alex was a loving husband, father, brother, and grandfather who will be missed by all who loved and knew him. 

Alex is survived by his wife, Melchora, his children, Katherine Lacson and her husband, V.J., Raymund Pingoy and his wife, Mary Grace, Anthony Eladjo Pingoy and his wife, Twinkle Jean, Melanie Pingoy and her fiancé, Jan Racaza, and Mitchel Ryan Pingoy, his siblings, Patricio Pingoy, Cheryl Therese Arboleda, Maria Lourdes Pingoy, Maria Corazon Pingoy, Maria Bernadette Villamor, and Jose Pingoy, his grandchildren, Kyrene Xela, Kyle Noel, Kyeran Joshua, Gabriel Angel, Jonah Raphael, Benjamin Michael, Liliana Chloe, and Azelie Giana.

Visitation will be Sunday, September 9th from 2 to 4 PM and 7 to 9 PM at Spotswood Funeral Home, 475 Main Street, Spotswood.  Funeral services will begin 8:45 AM Monday September 10th at the funeral home.  Mass will be said at 9:30 AM at Saint Bartholomew Roman Catholic Chiurch, 470 Ryders Lane, East Brunswick  Entombment will follow at Holy Cross Burial Park, Cranbury Road, East Brunswick.
