Andrew F. Granato, 57, of Kenilworth, passed away suddenly at his home on Wednesday, October 12, 2022.
Born in Jersey City, Andrew lived in Jersey City and Bayonne until settling in Kenilworth five years ago. He worked as an accountant for more than thirty years with various firms and for the last three years, he was with Metropolitan Dermatology of Elizabeth. He was an avid fan of the Oakland Raiders and the Boston Red Sox. He enjoyed collecting old record albums and coins, bowling with his sons, traveling, especially to Mexico and Italy and, family gatherings and celebrations.
Predeceased by his father Roy Granato and his sister Lisa Granato, he is survived by his wife of five years, Jennifer Hiramatsu; his sons Conner and Ryan; his mother Elizabeth Noto and her husband Silvio; his sisters Marie Granato-Dahl and her husband Paul and Stacey Granato, and; many members of his extended families.
The family will receive friends on Monday, October 17th, from 9:00 to 11:00 AM at Spotswood Funeral Home, 475 Main Street, Spotswood, followed by an 11:30 AM Mass of Christian Burial from Immaculate Conception Church, Manalapan Road, Spotswood. Cremation will be private.
In lieu of flowers, donations honoring Andrew's memory may be made to the American Heart Association.
