Andrew Solomon, 54, of Hackensack, NJ passed away suddenly on Saturday, November 2, 2024 at his home.
Andrew was born in Summit, NJ, and lived in Watchung, NJ, until moving to Hackensack in the late 1990’s. He was a self-employed investor. Andrew was an avid fan of the New York Giants and college football. He enjoyed attending live concerts, the casinos and live comedy shows. He enjoyed listening to classic rock and his favorite band was RUSH. Andrew loved to travel especially to his preferred destination Cabo, Mexico. Other interests included cooking, eating out with friends and going to movies.
Andrew had an outgoing personality and gentle spirit and was kind to everyone he met, always giving of himself to others. He was a very special person with a great sense of humor, always with a ready smile and a comforting word. Andrew touched the lives of so many people with his thoughtfulness and generosity and he will always be loved and remembered. He sustained a lifelong friendship with his friend Brett Stolz, and was a long-term friend of Rob and Monika Smith. He was a best friend and soulmate to his fiancée Kathleen Connor and was a great role model for her daughter Kaitlyn and her grandson, Finley.
