Ann Paone

Ann Paone, 83, of East Brunswick, passed away on Monday, January 13, 2025 at Saint Peter’s University Hospital, New Brunswick.

Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, Ann settled in East Brunswick in 2009. She was a communicant of Saint Bartholomew’s R.C. Church, East Brunswick. She retired in 2003 from Key Food Corp. in Brooklyn, where she worked as an executive secretary for the CEO. Ann was a member of the East Brunswick Senior Center. She enjoyed Zumba dancing, singing, oil painting and cruising. Ann also looked forward to spending time with her family and grandchildren and she enjoyed the company of her friends.

Predeceased by her husband, Joseph R. Paone in 1987, her son Joseph G. Paone in 1991 and, her sister Emily Barbella , she is survived by her daughter, Lisa Chiarini and her husband, Michael; her grandchildren, Marisa and Allison, and; her nephews, John, Michael and Gerard Barbella.

Funeral service will be held on Friday, January 17th, beginning with an 11:15 AM Mass of Christian Burial from Saint Bartholomew R.C. Church, East Brunswick, followed by committal in Resurrection Cemetery, Staten Island, New York. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 15th, from 2:00 until 5:00 PM, then again on Thursday, January 16th from 2:00 until 5:00 PM and from 7:00 until 9:00 PM at Spotswood Funeral Home, 475 Main Street, Spotswood.
