Arthur Rossi, Jr.

Arthur Rossi, Jr., 90, of Helmetta, passed away on Wednesday, November 8, 2023 at St. Peter's University Medical Center, New Brunswick.

Born and raised in South River, Arthur settled in Helmetta in 2000. He served in the United States Navy during the Korean conflict. After serving for his country, Arthur worked as a Mailman with the South River Post Office, retiring in 1992, after 36 years of service. He enjoyed trips to Atlantic City with his wife, Teri, and looked forward to his nearly yearly trips to Canada. He enjoyed following the New York Yankees and Giants during their seasons. Above all else, Arthur cherished time with his grandchildren, always looking forward to taking them wherever they wanted to go, and never missing any of his grandsons athletic events.

Predeceased by his son, Richard "Ricky" Rossi in 2020, his brother, Peter Rossi and, his nephew, Peter Rossi, Jr., Arthur is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Teri Rossi; his daughter, Diane Scheicher and her husband, Eugene, Sr.; a nephew, Wayne Rossi; a niece, Joanne Rossi; his grandchildren, Gene Scheicher, Jr. and his wife, Ashley, Kelsey Scheicher and her fiancé, Kenny Labanski, and; a great-granddaughter, Sadie Scheicher.

A private service and cremation were entrusted to Spotswood Funeral Home.
