Bernadette M. Gomm

Bernadette M. Gomm, 64, of South River, passed away on Friday, December 20, 2024 at Robert Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick.

Born and raised in Jersey City, Bernadette lived in Carteret for many years before settling in South River in 2009. She was involved in Mary Kay Cosmetics sales for many years. She enjoyed watching old movies, cruising, trips to Atlantic City and spending time at the Jersey Shore.

Predeceased by her parents, Franklin and Patricia Gomm and her siblings, Carol Kolendriski and Franklin Gomm, Jr; she is survived by her other siblings, Patricia Shea (Maurice), Brian (Karen) and Kevin (Denise)  Gomm, Jean Onulak (Ted) and Elizabeth Kurdyla (Keith), and; her life partner of 24 years, Daniel Michaud.

Cremation was private. There will be a Memorial Service for family and friends on Sunday, December 29th, from 4:00 until 7:00 PM, at Spotswood Funeral Home, 475 Main Street, Spotswood. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, December 30th at 10:30 AM from Immaculate Conception Church, Spotswood.

In lieu of flowers, donations honoring Bernadette’s memory may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
