Claire Rasizer, 92, of the Concordia Community of Monroe Township, passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, December 21, 2022.
Born and raised in Brooklyn, Claire lived in Springfield for more than 50 years before she settled in Monroe Township in 2016. For many years she was an Administrative Assistant at Kean University in Union, prior to retiring in 1999. She enjoyed playing mahjong and cooking (especially brisket). But her greatest love was spending time with her sons, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Predeceased by her siblings Samuel Rich, Sadie Minster, Anne Monashefsky, Edna Koll and Rachel Hellman, she is survived by her sons Scott and Bruce Rasizer; her grandchildren Andrew, Josh, Rebecca and Demi Rasizer, and; her great-grandchildren Analeigh, Ariyana, Manny Justiniano and Quinn Rasizer.
A graveside service will be held at 11:30 AM on Tuesday, December 27th, at King Solomon Memorial Park, Dwasline Road, Clifton. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Beth Israel Memorial Chapel, Spotswood.
Donations honoring Claire's memory may be made to The Stein Hospice.
