Dolores L. Williams, 64, of Spotswood, passed away peacefully with family at her side on Saturday, January 11, 2025.
Born and raised in Hazelton, Pennsylvania, she also lived in Edison for many years before settling in Spotswood in 2000. Dee retired as a customer service associate from the Kilmer facility of the United States Postal Service in 2024 after 40 years of service. She enjoyed crafting, gardening, and was an avid reader. She loved traveling and visited every state except Alaska. She was an adventurer: paragliding off of Mount Sainte Anne de Beaupre in Quebec, Canada, snorkeling in the waters off of Hawaii and Jamaica and, visiting Angel’s Window at the Grand Canyon. Dolores enjoyed riding her Harley or riding in her husband’s sidecar while reading a book. She was also known for her great sense of humor, always being in great spirits, and happy to help others.
Dolores was Predeceased by her parents, Charles and Marlene McDonald, her sister, Sheree Maxwell, her nieces Karen and Lisa Maxwell. She is survived by her husband of 45 years, John Williams; her siblings, Michael McDonald, Charlene Keelan, Peter McDonald, Denise Luzak and Roxanne Obledo, and; her niece Jennifer, who was always there for her, in addition to many other nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, January 15th at 11:30 AM at Chestnut Hill Cemetery, East Brunswick, under the direction of Spotswood Funeral Home.
