Donald Michael Musto, 62, of Spotswood, passed away at his home after a lengthy illness, surrounded by his loving family, on Sunday, June 9, 2024.
Born in Staten Island, New York, Donny was raised in Edison and lived in South Jersey for many years before settling in Spotswood in 2018. Before his retirement, he was a manager with Tastykake Bakers in Cherry Hill. He was well known for his sense of humor and for always being helpful to others. He enjoyed tinkering with all types of electronic devices and gadgets and, he was an avid fan of the Minnesota Vikings Football team. As a Boy Scout, he looked forward to being the cook during any camping trips. Above all else, he loved spending time with his daughter and all of his family.
Predeceased by his father, Dominick Musto in 2009 and his sister, Virginia Frielinghaus in 2023, he is survived by his daughter, Dominique Musto; his mother, Madelyn Musto; his sister, Faith Capitini; his nieces, Jessica, Cristiana and Josette; his nephew, Anthony, and; many aunts, an uncle and cousins.
The family will receive family and friends on Wednesday, June 12th, from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and again from 7:00 to 9:00 PM at Spotswood Funeral Home, 475 Main Street, Spotswood. A Blessing will be offered at 8:30 PM during evening visitation. Cremation will be private.
In lieu of flowers, donations honoring Donny’s memory may be made to the International Myeloma Foundation.
