Elizabeth Ellison, 75, of Princeton, passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, May 2, 2024.
Born in New Brunswick, Elizabeth was raised in Highland Park and Edison before settling in Princeton more than twenty years ago. She was a gifted artist, specializing in oil painting and had studied art under her father-in-law, Joseph Ellison. Together with Joseph, she was a member of the Edison Township Art Guild, where she showcased her work over the years. She enjoyed fishing and watching her favorite daytime soap operas. She was beloved by her family and her quick wit and creativity will be missed.
Predeceased by her husband, William Ellison, on April 17th, 2024, and three of her siblings, Lydia, Frank, and Patrick. She is survived by her sisters Susan Rowe and Lisa Baker; two other brothers and a sister; daughters, Diane Amaro and Sharon Ellison; her granddaughters, Amanda Milazzo and Kayla and Julie Amaro, and; her great-grandson, AJ Watrous.
Cremation is private. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Spotswood Funeral Home.
