Eunice Harrigfeld

Eunice Harrigfeld, 86, formerly of Spotswood passed away on Saturday, December 26, 2020 in Gainesville, Georgia.

Born in Hope Mills, North Carolina Eunice lived in Spotswood from 1956 until this year when she settled in Georgia to be with her sons and duaghters-in-law. She retired in the early 1990s from Wells Fargo in East Brunswick where she worked for 20 years as a Platform Associate in the Commercial Banking Department. Prior to Wells Fargo, she was employed for 15 years with JC Penney in East Brunswick as a Sales Associate. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, traveling with her friends from the Spotswood Red Hats, taking cruises, trips to Las Vegas and, her yearly trips back home to North Carolina to visit her family. She was a past president and treasurer of Spotswood Post 253 of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary. She was a devoted member of the Spotswood Reformed Church.

Predeceased by her husband George in 1987, her daughter Cynthia Harrigfeld-Ziola in 2019 and her brothers, Doyle and Gary Beasley, she is survived by her children, Russell Harrigfeld and his wife Julia and Scott Harrigfeld and his wife Keisha, all of Flowery Branch, Geogia; her grandchildren, Shawn (Sheri) Harrigfeld, Hope (Rick) Rodrigue, Andrew (Kristin) Krassner and Megan (Brandon) Kizer, and; her great-grandchildren, Jayme, Storm, Skylar, Jayde, Rayven, Odin, John, River, Corbin, Alessa and Timothy.

Funeral services will begin at 10:00 AM, Monday, January 4, 2021 from the Spotswood Reformed Church followed by interment in Franklin Memorial Park, North Brunswick. The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 3rd from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Spotswood Funeral Home, 475 Main Street, Spotswood. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the restrictions placed on gatherings and activities, all current guidelines are to be observed during visitations, including the use of face coverings and social distancing.

In lieu of flowers, donations honoring Eunice's memory may be made to the Spotswood Reformed Church, 429 Main Street, Spotswood, NJ 08884.
