Frances Bobadilla, 57, of Spotswood, passed away on Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at University Medical Center of Princeton at Plainsboro.
Born and raised in Jersey City, Frances settled in Spotswood in 2002. For the past six years she was an executive assistant with the investment firm of State Street Inc. in Princeton. Prior to State Street, she worked for Goldman Sachs in Jersey City for ten years. Frances enjoyed traveling throughout the Caribbean, Portugal, and many of the states, where she made it a point to catch a live major league baseball game in that city's stadium. She was an avid shopper and bargain hunter. She was also able to plan a successful party or gathering in no time flat. She was a caring and unselfish person who would do for others before herself. Above all, Frances was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and daughter.
Predeceased by her mother Emma Vega in 2011, she is survived by her husband of 28 years, Nilson Bobadilla of Spotswood; her daughter, Natasha Robinson and her husband Derick, of Millville; her siblings, Bethsaida Wishner, Ruth Smith, Anne Marie Rodriguez and, Samuel, Nelson and Nancy Vega, and; her grandson Carter Robinson.
Funeral services will begin at 9:45 AM on Monday from Spotswood Funeral Home, 475 Main Street, Spotswood, followed by a 12:00 PM entombment at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 6:00 to 9:00 PM.
