Frances D'Aries, 86, of Spotswood passed away on Sunday, November 1, 2020 at Penn Medical Center at Plainsboro.
Born and raised in Orange, Frances also lived in West Orange for many years before settling in Spotswood in 1998. A devoted wife and mother, she was quiet and kind and loved being the caregiver for everyone she knew, especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed reading, cooking and she made a great New York Cheesecake. She was also a devout and practicing Catholic and a long time communicant of Immaculate Conception Church of Spotswood.
Predeceased by her husband Lawrence, Sr. in 1998 and all of her siblings, she is survived by her children, Rosamaria Schaefer and her husband Scott of Pennsylvania, Lawrence, Jr. and his wife Dawn of South Carolina, Vita Marino and her husband Vincent of Monroe Twp., Lorraine Bruno of Beachwood and Francine of Fort Monmouth, and; her grandchildren, Laurelynne, Keralie, Sara, Elissa, Brooke, Jessie, Tara, Michael, Victoria, Nicholas and Joseph.
Cremation is private. The family will receive friends for a Celebration of Life service on Saturday, November 7th from 12 Noon until 2:00 PM at the Funeral Home. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the restrictions placed on gatherings and activities, all current guidelines are to be observed during visitations, including the use of face coverings and social distancing.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations honoring Frances' memory be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (see the link below).
