Gloria Bindewald

Gloria Bindewald, 89, of Columbus, formerly of Spotswood, passed away on Tuesday, June 16, 2021 at Cooper University Hospital in Camden.

Born and raised in Rahway, Gloria lived in Spotswood for nearly 30 years before settling in Columbus (Mansfield Twp.) in 2009. She was a devoted member of the Spotswood Reformed Church and later, the Providence Presbyterian in Burlington. She worked for Halston Fragrance Company for several years in the late 70s before becoming a homemaker. She enjoyed family gatherings, her time at the Jersey Shore, especially her trips to Seaside Park, cruising and playing cards and dominoes with her friends at Homestead of Columbus Retirement Community where, she was an active member of the senior club.

Predeceased by her son Randy in 2019 and her 3 siblings, she is survived by her husband of 66 years, Gustave; her son Kevin; her grandchildren Ally, Nicole, Brent, Jesica and Ashley, and; her great-grandchildren Izabelle, Ava and Grace.

Funeral services will begin at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, June 22nd in the Chapel at Frost Woods Memorial Park, East Brunswick followed by her entombment. The family will receive friends on Monday, June 21st from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at Spotswood Funeral Home, 475 Main Street, Spotswood. In lieu of flowers, donations honoring Gloria's memory may be made to the Providence Presbyterian Church.
