Gwendolyn Strokus

Gwendolyn Strokus, 65, of Spotswood, passed away on Monday, December 1, 2025 at her home.

Born in New Brunswick, she was raised in East Brunswick, settling in Spotswood in the mid-1990s. She was a fire safety inspector for Middlesex County College in Edison for the past 25 years. In addition to her college duties, she also worked part time at Kohl’s in Manalapan and taught aerobics for a number of studios. She enjoyed going to craft shows.

Predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Charlotte Strokus, she is survived by her brother, Gregory Strokus and his wife, Maryann; her nieces, Laurel and Annalise, and; many cousins.

A private cremation was entrusted to Spotswood Funeral Home. A gathering of family and friends will be scheduled at a later date.
