Irene Mary Walling

Irene Mary (Molnar) Walling, 83, of East Brunswick, died Monday, April 15, 2013 at CareOne in Holmdel. Born and raised in Perth Amboy, Irene lived in Manalapan for a short period before settling in the Historic Old Bridge Village section of East Brunswick. Irene was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, and she also was a hard worker and a good friend who would help anyone she met. She enjoyed playing bingo and having fun anywhere she went. Predeceased by her husband Vernon Walling and her son Kenneth Walling, both in 2004, she is survived by her daughter-in-law, Ann Walling of Aberdeen, and; her granddaughters, Tina, Jeanine and Maria Walling. Funeral services will begin with a Liturgy of Christian Burial on Saturday at 10:00 AM from St. Benedict's Church, 165 Bethany Rd, Holmdel, followed by interment in Chestnut Hill Cemetery, East Brunswick. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 PM at Spotswood Funeral Home, 475 Main Street, Spotswood.
