James L Pasciutti

James L. Pasciutti, 86, of Spotswood, New Jersey passed away on Thursday, October 30, 2025 at his home.

Born in New York City, New York, James was raised in Queens, New York and in New York City before settling in the Clearwater Community in Spotswood in the mid-1980s. He served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam era. He was a police officer with the New York City Police Department for 11 years before going on to start his own security company. After he moved to New Jersey, he went to work for Allied Barton Security Services of Monmouth Junction, retiring as a captain in 2010. James was a very social person and he could have a conversation with anyone. He was active with the Spotswood Office on Aging. He enjoyed boating and the beach when he was a younger man and he looked forward to studying his Bible.

Predeceased by his parents, Louis and Mary Pasciutti and his brother, Louis J. Pasciutti, he is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Betty S. Pasciutti; his brother, Lawrence R. Pasciutti, and; many nieces and nephews.

Cremation is private. A committal service at Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Center Moriches (Long Island), New York will be held at a later date.
