Jamie Sorenson

Jamie Sorenson, 36, of Winslow Township passed away suddenly on Thursday, February 24, 2022.

Born in Edison and raised in Woodbridge, Jamie settled in Winslow in 2018. A graduate of Woodbridge High School, Jamie continued her education at the award winning Institute of Culinary Education in New York City, NY. She was a talented chef and she was a very artistic and a talented painter. She was also a very kind and caring person. Jamie worked as a chef for several restaurants in and around South Jersey.

Predeceased by her father David Sorenson in 2012, she is survived by her mother Elizabeth Sorenson of Monroe Township and also her step-mother Kim Sorenson of Somerset, and; her sisters Jennifer Thuring and Ashlee Sorenson.

Cremation was private. The family will receive friends at a Celebration of Jamie's life on Saturday, March 5th from 1:00 to 3:00 PM at Spotswood Funeral Home 475 Main Street, Spotswood.

In lieu of flowers, donations honoring Jamie's memory may be made to Catholic Charities Addiction Services of the Diocese of Metuchen in order to help others.
