John R. Fiffick, Jr.

John Robert Fiffick, Jr., 80, of Monroe Township, passed away on Wednesday, November 20, 2024 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick.

Born in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, John was raised in Park Hill, Pennsylvania before settling in Monroe Township in 1969. He retired in 2009 after many years of service with Bristol Myers Squibb in North Brunswick, where he was a supervisor and also a shop steward for his union. He enjoyed golf, cruises and collecting football, baseball and hockey cards and coins. He was also an avid fan of the Pittsburgh Pirates, Penguins and Steelers, so much so, that many of his pets were named after different team players. John was very kind and giving of himself to others. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather and he loved spending time with all of his family, especially his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Joan Fiffick; his children, John Fiffick, III and his wife, Donna, Michelle Angeles and her husband, Dennis and Danielle Iocono and her husband, Michael; a sister, Elaine Caldwell; his grandchildren, Nicole, John IV, Scott, Connor, Spencer, Michael Jr. and Madison, and; a great-grandson, Louis W, III.

The family will receive friends and family on Tuesday, November 26th, from 4:00 until 8:00 PM at Spotswood Funeral Home, 475 Main Street, Spotswood. Cremation will then be private
