John W. Sztramski

John W. Sztramski, 75, of Spotswood, passed away at his home, surrounded by his loving family, on Friday, October 20, 2023.

Born and raised in Worcester, Massachusetts, John eventually moved to New Jersey and he lived in Cranford, Monroe Township and Edison before settling in Spotswood in 1985. John was an industrial carpenter for more than 40 years, retiring in 2006 from the Carpenters Union, Local 2250, Red Bank. John was an All-American swimmer during his college years in Massachusetts. He enjoyed spear fishing and also fresh and salt water fishing. He was an avid pool player in many eight and nine ball leagues.

John is survived by his wife of 51 years, Cathy Sztramski; his daughter, Michelle Sztramski and her husband, Charles Burghart; his son, John Sztramski and his wife, Rebecca; his siblings, Robert, David and Peter Sztramski and, Ann Chase, and; his grandchildren, Charlize, Jacob and Noah.

Cremation was private. A Memorial Service will be held at 12:30 PM, on Saturday, November 11th, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 54 Oak Street, Old Bridge.
