Joseph A. Lucciola, 82, of Old Bridge Township, passed away on Wednesday, January 3, 2024 at Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge.
Born and raised in Orange, Joe settled in Old Bridge Township in 1971. He retired after 27 years as a custodian for the Bridgewater-Raritan Regional School District in 2001, prior to being a master barber and Italian bread baker. He was an extremely loving father and a wonderful husband.
He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Rose Mary Lucciola, and; his sons, Joseph and Anthony Lucciola.
Funeral services will begin with a 9:30 AM Mass of Christian Burial from Saint Thomas the Apostle RC Church, Rt. 18 South, Old Bridge, on Thursday, January 11th. Entombment will follow in Clover Leaf Memorial Park, Rt. 1-9 South, Woodbridge. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 9th, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM and, Wednesday, January 10th, from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and again from 7:00 to 9:00 PM. All visitations at Spotswood Funeral Home, 475 Main Street, Spotswood.
In lieu of flowers, donations honoring Joseph’s memory may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
