Karen A. Crawford, 63, of Manalapan Township, passed away on Saturday, December 8, 2018 at Centra-State Hospital, Freehold.
Born in Perth Amboy, Karen was raised in Englishtown and lived in Union Beach for more than 30 years before settling in Manalapan last year. She was a great cook and had a sharp wit and sense of humor. She enjoyed playing basketball, softball and bowling and loved being outdoors, spending time camping and being around horses.
Predeceased by her father, Joseph Lesko, Sr. and her brother, Joseph Lesko, Jr., she is survived by her husband of 38 years, Gary, of Manalapan; her children, Gary, Jr. and his wife Jessica, of Tennessee, Matthew of Union Beach and Jennifer and her husband Patrick Byrne, also of Union Beach; her mother, Mary Lesko, and; her brother, Thomas Lesko.
Cremation was private. The family will receive friends at a Memorial Service on Saturday, December 15th from 12:30 to 2:30 PM at Spotswood Funeral Home, 475 Main Street, Spotswood.
