Kathleen Patricia Baumley, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, April 3, 2025 just shy of her 80th birthday.
Kathleen was predeceased by her husband, Frank Baumley, in September 2014, and her brothers, David and Edward Howard. She is survived by her children, Roger Hill and his wife, Christine, Christopher Hill and his wife, Sharon, Kelly Baumley and her wife, Lisa Picht, and her youngest daughter, Jamie Coraggio. She was also blessed with 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren
She grew up in Amityville, NY before settling in Middlesex County, NJ with her husband, where they raised four wonderful children. After 20 years of employment with Rutgers University she retired with Frank to De Leon Springs, FL. It was in De Leon Springs where she felt most peaceful and enjoyed her retirement.
Kathleen was kind and generous to people in need. She had a green thumb and rehabbed many plants from their pots of despair. She was an avid crossword and jigsaw puzzler. Kathleen and her husband took motorcycle and RV trips throughout the eastern US and her fondest memories were of the time she spent in the Catskill Mountains with her family.
A private cremation was entrusted to Spotswood Funeral Home. Donations honoring Kathleen’s memory may be made to the Triple Negative Breast Cancer Foundation.
