Laszlo Szekeres

Laszlo Szekeres, 76, of Monroe Township, passed away on Monday, July 27, 2020 in Old Bridge.

Born and raised in Pecs, Hungary, Laszlo came to the United States in 1971. He lived in New Brunswick, Milltown and Spotswood before settling in Monroe Township 7 years ago. He was a long time member of the Magyar Reformed Church of New Brunswick. He retired in 2010 from JB Hunt Trucking of East Brunswick, where he worked as a driver for 15 years. Prior to JB Hunt, Laszlo was a computer technician for a number of companies in central New Jersey including General Motors Corp.

Laszlo is survived by his wife of 32 years Magdolna Szekeres; his daughter Renata Gorman, and; his grandchildren Eva, Lilla and Sandor.

There will be a Memorial Service on Saturday, August 1st at 12:30 PM at the Magyar Reformed Church, 175 Somerset Street, New Brunswick, followed by 2:00 PM entombment in Holy Cross Burial Park South Brunswick.
