Ludmila Slobodinsky, 72, of the Concordia Community of Monroe Township, passed away on Monday, June 16, 2025 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick.
Born and raised in Kharkiv, USSR, now Ukraine, she came to the United States in 1992. She lived in Highland Park and Old Bridge before settling in Monroe Township in 2015. Prior to her retirement in the early 2010s, she was a programmer and analyst for Revlon Inc. of Edison Township. She enjoyed traveling both here and abroad and she loved sight-seeing and going to beaches wherever she was. She also enjoyed music and reading.
Predeceased by her parents, Ilya Dvorkin and Valentina Shteynberg, she is survived by her husband of 51 years, Jacob Slobodinsky; her daughters, Margaret Slobodinsky and Irina Slobodinsky; her son-in-law, Eldar Yuzbashev; her sister, Galina Sochev; her brother-in-law, Victor Sochev, and; her grandchildren, Samuel and Timur Yuzbashev.
A chapel service will begin at 12:30 PM on Tuesday, June 17th at Beth Israel Memorial Chapel, 475 Main Street, Spotswood, followed by interment in Beth Abraham Cemetery, Cranbury Road, East Brunswick at 1:30 PM. The family will receive friends beginning at 11:45 AM Tuesday at Beth Israel Memorial Chapel.
