Margaret Mary Bogaard

Margaret Mary Bogaard, 86, of Manalapan passed away on Tuesday, December 10th at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold.

Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, Marge, lived there for more than 35 years before moving to Staten Island, New York. She settled in Manalapan in 1999.

For more than 30 years she worked as a manager for the former New York Telephone Company in Brooklyn before retiring in the late 1970s. She was an avid fan of the New York Yankees. Marge enjoyed decorating her home for each of the seasons as they changed and, she cherished time spent with all of her family.

Predeceased by her 3 siblings, she is survived by many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will begin on Saturday, December 14th with a 10:00 AM Mass of Christian burial from St. Christopher's RC Church, Staten Island, NY followed by interment in Moravian Cemetery, also Staten Island. The family will receive friends on Friday, December 13th from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Spotswood Funeral Home 475 Main Street, Spotswood.
