Margaret M. Tamsula, 95, of Old Bridge Township, passed away on Thursday, November 20, 2025 at her home.
Margaret was born in 1929 in Perth Amboy, where she was raised and lived until 1964, when she moved to the former Madison Township, today known as Old Bridge Township. She was a long-time communicant of Saint Thomas the Apostle Church in Old Bridge. She worked as a telephone operator for NJ Bell, The Home News, and Johnson & Johnson, where she retired in 1985. She was also employed with JC Penney and, the Old Bridge School District, where she was a lunch aid until her 90th birthday and, she worked the NJ Board of Elections polls until she was 93.
Predeceased by her parents, William and Helen Kenny, her brother, Edward Kenny, her sister, Ellen Malopolski and, her husband, George Tamsula Sr., she is survived by her children, Kenneth Tamsula and his wife, Sarah, Karen Schrof and her husband, John, and George Tamsula Jr. and his wife, Nancy; her grandchildren, Kenneth Jr. and his wife, Kristina and Kevin and his Fiancée, Lauren Fernandez, and; her great-grandchildren, Nehemiah and Sophia.
Family and friends may call on Monday, November 24th, from 4:00 to 8:00 PM, at Spotswood Funeral Home, 475 Main Street, Spotswood. A private cremation will follow.

We are here to keep these families together and to keep these canines out of shelters.The Retired Police Canine Foundation advocates on behalf of handlers and adopted owners.
