Mary Ann Andrews

Mary Ann (Aszman) Andrews, 68, of Somerset, died Sunday, July 29, 2012 at Raritan Bay Medical Center, Perth Amboy. Born and raised in Elizabeth, Mary Ann lived in the Monroe Twp. and Spotswood areas for many years before settling in Somerset in 1997. She enjoyed singing and listening to Elvis Presley's music, cooking, baking and crocheting, but mostly, she loved being "Nana" to her grandchildren and spending time with them. She is survived by her children, Mark Andrews and his companion Jackie Lewis, of California and, Danielle Reilly and her companion Mark Koehler, of Milltown; Her brothers, Harry T. Aszman and his wife Deanna, of Spotswood, Richard M. Aszman and his wife Jane, of Edison and James Aszman and his wife Zen, of East Rutherford; her sister Karen Aszman of Old Bridge, and; four grandchildren. Funeral services will begin at 10:00 AM Saturday from Spotswood Funeral Home, 475 Main Street, Spotswood, followed by Interment in St. James Cemetery, Jamesburg. The family will receive friends on Friday from 5:00 to 9:00 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the family would be deeply appreciated.
