Maureen Gatz, 93, of Spotswood, passed away on Friday, May 24, 2024 at her home.
Born and raised on Staten Island, New York, Maureen settled in Spotswood in 1954. She retired in 1986 from the Personal Products Division of Johnson and Johnson, in North Brunswick, where she was a clerk typist for thirty years. She was a long time Communicant of Immaculate Conception Church in Spotswood. After her retirement, she enjoyed bowling and, also traveling around the United States and abroad. She looked forward to knitting, baking, gardening and spending time with the Spotswood Seniors.
Predeceased by her husband, George Gatz in 1983 and, her siblings, Alice Mullaney, Patricia A. Coyle and Richard Quinn, Jr., she is survived by her daughter, Charlene Martinez and her husband Mariano; her grandson, Max Martinez, and; her great-grandson, Landen Lazaurs.
A private service was entrusted to Spotswood Funeral Home.
