Milton Morris, Jr. Obituary

Milton R. Morris, Jr., 72, of North Brunswick, passed away on Monday, August 3, 2020 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick.

Born and raised in New Brunswick, Milton, who was affectionately called Bob or Doc by those near to him, lived in Browns Mills and South Brunswick for many years before settling in North Brunswick 10 years ago. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam era. He spent more than 30 years as an electrician for various companies and was also self employed for many years. He always wanted to stay active, so much so, that he refused to retire and still helped others on small jobs. Milton was a very generous and giving man who always had a smile on his face. He was an avid collector of baseball cards and WWII memorabilia. He enjoyed restoring his classic Lincoln Mark III, watching baseball and NASCAR, following the Dallas Cowboys, fishing and he especially looked forward to spending time with his nieces and nephews and holiday get-togethers with his family.

Predeceased by his siter Bernice Marano, he is survived by his son, Patrick Zimmerman; his granddaughter, Vanessa Knorpp, and; many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at the Brigadier General William C. Doyle New Jersey Veteran's Memorial Cemetery, North Hanover Township, on Friday, August 14th at 12:30 PM.
