Raymond Lukosevic, 85, of Spotswood passed away on Wednesday, February 26, 2020 at AtlanticCare Medical Center, Atlantic City.
Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, Ray settled in Spotswood in 1965. For nearly 30 years he worked as a manager for Twin County Grocers of Edison. He enjoyed his Friday night poker games, Atlantic City and Freehold Raceway. An avid reader, Ray also enjoyed taking care of his gardens and bird feeder, following the New York Yankees and learning all he could about UFO's. But above all, he was an honest and honorable person and a loving family man.
Predeceased by his son Andrew Lukosevic in 2012 and his sister, Madeline Brucaliere, he is survived by his wife of 59 years, Jeanette Lukosevic of Spotswood; his children, Carol Raike and her husband Robert, of Somerset, his son Brad Lukosevic of Spotswood, and; his grandchildren, Christopher and Nicole Raike and Andrew and Nicholas Lukosevic.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 29th from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 7:00 to 9:00 PM at Spotswood Funeral Home 475 Main Street, Spotswood. A private cremation will follow.
