Richard Scott "Duke" Kimball, 44, of Spotswood, died suddenly on Monday, January 21, 2013 at his home. Born in New Brunswick, Duke was raised in East Brunswick and Stuart, FL, before settling in Spotswood in the late 80's. Duke was employed by the Hopewell Valley Golf Course, Hopewell, where he was a PGA certified class A golf pro. Prior to that, he taught at Somerset Hills Golf Course. Duke was also a championship golfer who won many tournaments before going on to instructing. He was an avid fan of the NY Yankees and the Miami Dolphins. He also enjoyed movie trivia and summer's in his backyard pool. Duke will be deeply missed by his wife, daughter, mother and all of his extended family and friends. Predeceased by his father, Kenneth J. Kimball, Sr., he is survived by his wife of 19 years, Susan (DeStefano) Kimball of Spotswood; his daughter, Jordan Kimball of Spotswood; his mother, Patricia Kimball of South River; his brother, Jay Kimball and his fiancée, Sandra Leone of East Brunswick; his sister, Sherry Andricsak and her husband Carl of Jamesburg; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Daniel and Patricia DeStefano of Monroe Twp.; his brother-in-law, Daniel DeStefano, Jr. of Sayreville; his sister-in-law, Carolyn LoMauro and her husband Pete of Monroe Twp., and; his nieces and nephews, Mackenzie and Bailey Kimball, Tyler Andricsak, Nicholas DeStefano and Kendall and Peter LoMauro.
