Robert A. Pietz

Robert Allen Pietz, 77, of Old Bridge Township, passed away after a long illness with his family by his side, on Sunday, June 9, 2024 at HMH Raritan Bay Medical Center, Perth Amboy.

Born in Bayonne, Robert was raised in Spotswood and Jamesburg before settling in Old Bridge in the late 1970s. Together with his late brother, Louis, they owned P and M Auto Body in Old Bridge for over 25 years, before retiring in 2000. He enjoyed watching old movies and tinkering with cars and motorcycles.

Predeceased by his brother, Louis Pietz and his sister, Myreal Sikorski, he is survived by his daughters, Tina Pietz and her husband, DJ Zajaczkowski, Kari Kubinak and her husband, Greg; his son, Robert J. Pietz, and; his grandchildren, Kyle, Justin, Jada, Morgan and Aidan.

Private arrangements have been entrusted to Spotswood Funeral Home.
