Rosemarie Hansen

Rosemarie Hansen, 71, of North Brunswick, passed away on Tuesday, December 8, 2020 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick.

Born and raised in New Brunswick, Rosemarie settled in North Brunswick in 1971. For more than 25 years, she worked for the North Brunswick Senior Center in various capacities, most recently in an administrative position, She enjoyed helping seniors and those less fortunate due to their disabilities. She had a very keen sense of humor, enjoyed cooking ethnic dishes and decorating for the holidays when her family all came together. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and cherished a recent trip to Florida's Disney World when the entire family was together. She also enjoyed an occasional trip to Atlantic City and watching old Star Trek episodes.

She is survived by her husband John of 49 years; her sons Jonathan and his wife Mary of Hooksett, NH and Sean of North Brunswick; her sister Lorraine Pelletier, and; her grandchildren Amelia, Alexandra and William.

Cremation was private. Due to the current pandemic, the family will announce a Memorial Service at a later date.
