Serafina (Fuentes) Vega

Serafina (Fuentes) Vega, 92, of Edison, died Friday, December 14, 2012 in Somerset. Born and raised in Havana, Cuba, Serafina came to the U.S. in 1968 and lived in Highland Park before settling in Edison in 1980. She was a seamstress with the former House of Fashion Bridal Shop of Highland Park for more than 20 years before retiring in the late 1980's. She was a long-time communicant of St. Paul's Church of Highland Park. She was also a member of the Edison Seniors. Predeceased by her husband, Jose Vega in 2010, she is survived by her daughter, Marta Vega of Edison; her brother, Carlos Fuentes of Bound Brook, and; several nieces and nephews.
