Shirley Leary, 94, a lifelong resident of Spotswood, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 16, 2022 in Cranbury.
Shirley enjoyed shopping, bowling, her trips to Atlantic City, family picnics and holiday, especially Christmas Eve. She was a long time member, and in fact, the oldest living member of the Spotswood Reformed Church.
Predeceased by seven of her siblings, she is survived by her daughter Kathleen Calvaruso and her husband Anthony and her son Kenneth Leary, a sister Barbara Jageman; her grandchildren Gina DeSantis, Christopher Calvaruso, Eric and Kevin Leary, and; great-granddaughter Sarina DeSantis.
Cremation was private under the direction of Spotswood Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at Celebration of Shirley's life on Saturday, August 27th, from 2:00 to 4:00 PM, with a 3:30 PM funeral service officiated by Rev. Hartmut Kramer-Mills, at the Spotswood Reformed Church, to be followed by interment in the Church Cemetery.
