Susan Taylor (Ball) Strock, 78, of Manalapan, formerly of Spotswood, died Sunday, September 15, 2012 at her home. Susan was born in Linden and raised in Rahway. She lived in Spotswood for many years before settling in Manalapan seven years ago. She was the owner of Spotswood Nursery School and, she was also vice president of St. Rock Industrial Mechanical Contractors, Inc., also of Spotswood. Susan also spent many years in the Social Services area assisting others. Susan was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother to her family and she will be missed dearly. Predeceased by her son, Marty, her parents, Richard and Nancy Ball and, her grandson, Vincent Glorisi, she is survived by her husband of 43 years, Edward Strock of Manalapan; her daughters, Debra Glorisi of East Brunswick, Nancy Thorsen and her husband Michael, of Leonardtown, MD and, Ediee Bacek and her husband Scott, of Jersey City; her brother, Richard Ball and his wife Marge, of Milford, NH; her grandchildren, Susan Hetzel and her husband Michael, Alyese Glorisi, Taylor and Lauren Thorsen and Christopher Bacek, and; her great-grandson, Michael Hetzel. At the request of the family, funeral services are private.
