Tammy J. Hart

Tammy Jean Hart, 59, of Old Bridge passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, October 27, 2021. 

Born in Newark, NJ, Tammy has lived in Old Bridge Township since the late 1960s. Tammy worked on and off for a few years and then found her love working for AC Moore Craft Store where she met many friends that turned into family before leaving due to the closing of the store in 2019. Tammy was a sassy and sarcastic, firecracker of a woman. She was tough. She was strong. She was stern. But she was also a loving and caring wife, an extraordinarily gentle Bachi to every single child (big or small) and the most amazing mother and friend. She was everyone's most loyal advocate and loudest cheerleader. Never afraid to tell you when you were wrong, but also the first in line to stand by your side when you were right. She was the type of woman to gleam with pride when you succeeded and to be there to help you up when you fell, and then again, when it was time to remind you to get back up and handle it. She opened her door to anyone who needed a place lay their head at night or to call home. Everyone was welcome for dinner, to jump in the pool or to come in for a snack and a hug. Tammy loved to crochet, craft and spend time with her grandchildren, who were the light of her life. You could always find her with a cup of coffee in hand and her beloved K9 companion, Belle by her side. 

Predeceased by her parents Leo and Patricia Zinkoski, her brothers Charles “Skip” Ross and Bruce Zinkoski. She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Donald Hart; her daughters Kristin and Stephanie Hart; her siblings Patricia Cerone and her husband Albert and Craig Zinkoski and his wife Fern, and; her grand children Riley Rose, Payton Dakota, Noah Gabriel and Mackenzie Jade.

The family will receive friends on Monday evening, November 1st, from 5:00 to 9:00 PM at Spotswood Funeral Home 475 Main Street, Spotswood. A private cremation will follow.
