Ze'ev Sherer

Ze’ev Sherer, 83, of Bound Brook, passed away on Sunday, October 5, 2025.

Born in Nizny Tagil, Russia, Ze’ev also lived in Poland, Israel and Canada before settling in the United States, where he lived in Somerset, New Jersey and enjoyed time in Coconut Creek, Florida. He was self employed as a photo finisher while living in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

He is predeceased by his parents and a daughter, Marcie (nee Sherer) Foster. He is survived by his wife of 15 years, Gail Ellen Barcun; his daughter, Samantha Sherer; his sister, Sara Arfin, his grandchildren, Eliana, Dominique and Brodie, and; his great-grandchildren, Logan and Parker.

A chapel service followed by committal will be held on Wednesday, October 8th at 11:30 AM, at Beth Israel Cemetery, 1098 Woodbridge Center Drive, Woodbridge, NJ under the direction of Beth Israel Memorial Chapel. Spotswood. We ask that everyone meet at the cemetery office prior to the start of the service.
